mapping the effect preview function

Post by He2neg »

Heyho...

i just thought about resolume before i fall asleep  and something come into my mind...

What if it would be possible to have the effect preview (dubble click) possible via midi / osc mapping

i.e.
I use a knob to scrol through the effect list
I press the knob to preview this effect /or/ i press to enter the preset area of this effect
I press another button to have this effect send to the composition

I think you know what i think about and it may be something to think about.

Greetings
...and now i go to sleep ;)

Hmm, and what if you could also apply the effect to a clip or layer via midi?

Wont say no to this, but its to complex for my head right now to figure out a solution how to chose were to apply the effect ;) (Without having a trigger for each destination)

Also the preview is allways on the composition lvl or?

Preview is always on the composition now indeed.

There is always a selected clip, and there is always a selected layer, so the simplest could be to applying the effect to the selection. The preview on the selection could also work.
