[IMPLEMENTED in 7.7] rescale preview monitor

as it's currently not possible to use the output monitor to move objects Igive more importance to the preview monitor as the output is output to the projector / display so given my layout , the preview monitor is too small and struggle to rescale the layout to find a correct position and size for the premiers monitor
I wish we could choose the position and size of the preview monitor and output monitor in separate windows

Would love to have the preview monitor unlinked to the program feed so we can move and scale them both individually

I absolutely +1 this idea.

Currently my solution is to just output preview to another monitor fullscreen.

What would really help would be being able to add layout guides on the preview, like rulers, and snap points. That would really aid some of my workflows for some compositions.

hello, the rulers are a super idea,
also guidlines like in psd would be great, in monitors and in advanced output too.
