FrreFrame versions of Resolume plugins

Post by DrMazoola »

Any chance of getting the whole pack of Resolume plug-ins built as 32-bit FreeFrame plugins so we can pre-render in Wax and/or FreeChain them? (If I can only get one, I want it to be GlowInTheDark.)

Hi,
Wax seems only to support freeframe plugins wich use ProcessFrameCopy, that means only plugins that don't use inplace processing. Most resolume plugins don't work with ProcessFrameCopy.
It's quit a bit of work to get this all sorted out, Pete's freechain also only works like wax. So only 32 bit plugins that use support ProcessFrameCopy.
The host though should normally take care of the conversion of bitdepths, i thought we agreed on this with the Freeframe team. And if the plugin does not support copy it should use it's inplace routine. If this work is all shifted to the plugin it will get more complicated then it should.

i hope i can release a new set of the resolume freeframe plugins soon with more support for wax and freechain

cheers
Edwin
