Getting new Laptop
I discovered that unfortunately my macbook does not have the system requirements to run my desired VJ set up (with Ableton) and my project was glitchy - in a bad way- when I tried to stream on OBS. I already have Ableton Software the Mac OS version, otherwise I would just want to invest in a gamer PC laptop for the Resolume. Am I just stuck with Apple then? I know there is the new M1 chip for the newer model, but not really wanting to invest in the new one since it sounds like there may still be compatibility issues with Resolume. Any suggestions? TY!

Re: Getting new Laptop
You can get some powerhouse of laptops for visuals for about $1,500 USD. is that within your budget?

You can get a loaded out clevo build with a 3070 for that.
Sager or pc specialist.
You can also spend a little bit more and look at some Razers with a full metal body and better cooling, but the extra costs may not be worth those features to some people, but that is another option as well.

Do those all have Windows OS? I am hoping to run my Ableton software on the same computer I run Resolume and the Ableton I have is for Mac.

Oh, disregard my last Q! I just saw how to change Ableton to Windows. I'm in America so I went with Alienware though TY!Arvol wrote: Sat Nov 27, 2021 23:56 You can get a loaded out clevo build with a 3070 for that.
