shift + drag = Merge not working on Resolume 7?

I am migrating from Resolume 6 to 7 and it seems like the MERGE is not available anymore,
i use to drag a clip with SHIFT key and all the effects from the clip and parameters merge to the new clip.
This is not working anymore, is there another way to do this on version 7?

Seems to work the same for me in v6 and 7.8.

How exactly are you trying to merge the clips, and where does it break for you?

This is how I always did.
Select clip > Drag + Shift then Merge (light blue text) appear - but not working in this version.
Select clip > Drag + Option then Copy (light blue text) appear - this works fine

Works fine for me there also, so not sure what's up.

Could you make a screen recording so we can see how exactly it breaks?

Are you using a v6 composition in v7 do do the merge, or are you doing it with newly dropped clips?
