Typewriter effect in real time. Is it possible?

Hi guys, I hope you can help me. I'm a new user of Avenue.

I am trying to create a way to display text (previously written) and present it letter by letter, at my chosen speed. The tricky thing is: I want to control in real time the speed of the letters appearing (with a midi controller, for example). How can this be done?

I am aware of the "Text Animator" option but I don't seem to find an answer with it...
