Ability to create infinite loops from any clip ("self-crossfade")

I'd like the ability to crossfade the end of a clip with the beginning of the same clip. This would remove the "jump" when a clip is set to "loop", and could make it easier to hide the fact that the clip is indeed looping.

It would be even cooler if I could define how long the crossfade would last, so I can choose between a quick fade or a drawn-out fade.
