Intel Centrino 1400 but only 15% of CPU used

I've got an Intel Centrino 1400Mhz, 512MB RAM, 1MB L2-Cache, Inel-855GM-Chipset and I tryed resolume 1.51 and 2. I want to use clips with a minimal lenght of 30sec in 640x480 or higher.
The clips didn`t run liquidly using 2 clips simultaneously. I checked the system speed and noticed only 15% of the CPU and ca.280MB RAM were used. If I stopped the clips the CPU speed increased to 100%. I tryed both versions on my laptop and on an AMD Athlon 1800. The Problem was still the same. I change priority of resolume to realtime. Unsuccessful.

What could I do? Is it possible to play such long clips with resolume liquidly? Wath codec should I use?

maybe, convert your vids to SWF...full quality...will be fasterrrr

i just use swf...not videos!!!
