Sound to late with DirectSound setting

Hey Resolumes,
if I use my external soundcards via "DirectSound" the audio is almost 1 second behind.
But when I use them in "WindowsAudio" mode...everything is fine.

This happens with all my external USB Soundcard models I own:
NI Complete Audio 6
Yamaha AG03
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2
Focusrite Scarlett Solo

Tested with Windows 10, Resolume 7.10 on Desktop PC, XMG Notebook and an Alienware 15

+ There also seems to be something strange, but only with the devices from focusrite. After 5-10 minutes they are completely stopping to output audio. This happens in DirectSound and also in WindowsAudio mode.
I've already checked the USB power saving options - Set to no powersaving.
Unplug-Replug solves it and brings them back on track...but just for another round a bound 5-10 min.

Is this only in Resolume or does this happen in other apps as well?
All my devices are asio so I haven't touched windows or direct for years. I could try testing my M2 with windows and direct later this week.

would be nice if you can check this too.

I will going and check if this also happens in other applications. But first I have to find one which let me choose between DirectSound and WindowsAudio...

TouchDesigner or OSC should be a free option to test with.

Directsound used to be great, now it just adds latency.
