Quick switch in wire

Maybe there is a way already, but id love to have a way to quickly switch to try different shapes, effects or so in wire. Lets say use a command + arrow up or down while having a shape selected to flip to a different shape. Or same thing when I have a video effect selected.

Yes that sound like a work around, but I'd rather have a built in keyboard shortcut to tinker with the nodes quicker : D

This is implemented in Magic Music Visuals for example, and I love how quickly I can run trough different ISF to see how they work with my composition...

ISF nodes have a dropdown where you can select which shader they should use:
