Slice screen does not fit correctly into slice transform screen

As soon as i started to work with slices notthing is making sense

Basically i have 3 screens, but i was tired of having the content so zoomed in to pan across them 3 that now I have the 2 screens on the side repeating the content of the main screen, and the main screen im trying to treat it as a single total screen with most of the content

I have some layers where i want the content of it to totally go around the screen, something to create a border effect.

When i add the slice transform to just show on this screen 1 and choose the scretch option it does something that is not at all normal, please see the imgur link above.

If you change your clip WxH to match the comp it should work.

@Dev's do we think we could discuss having an option to have a drag and drop option that works like the OP has intended, without the need to resize clips or layers? I've seen this issue come up a few dozen times and it always seems to throw people for a loop.
