why isnt slice layout recorded with COMPOSITION???

ok ok so did I do something wrong to deserve this: after adding and adjusting up to 55 slices in the output of advanceoutput I saved the composition and moved on to another project. deleted the old slices from the 1st compostion and BOOOM fuck you they are all gone in the FIRST COMPOSTION ALSO!!!!! fakkkkkk it took me 4 hours work..... not happy REALLY!!!!! please help recover the old slices!!!!
