Updating the Wire licence without Resolume

I can't find an answer to this question:

Can the Wire licence be renewed without the resolume licence? Is compatibility guaranteed?
I'd like to try out the new Wire features, such as Attribute Flow. And then use them in resolume.
But I don't have enough money to update both programs.

Having different Wire and Resolume versions installed on a machine is not possible currently, so if you renew, I'd recommend renewing both serials.
You can install Wire on your second machine (or do a dual boot) to chech out features, and leave your main machine with 7.13.2 with both apps.

Patches made in a newer Wire won't work in earlier Resolume.
