4K HDMI Over Fiber Optic Extender with custom resolutions

Hello,
could you please recommend a 4K HDMI Over Fiber Optic Extender (TX and RX kit) witch supports the custom HDMI resolutions ? For example 2688x1536 @60Hz ?
What parameter should I pay attention to when choosing a product? EDID or just not?

I was the first north american to use these about 7 years ago and original units I purchased back then are still going strong! Think of them as a 4K Decimator (before Decimator made a 12G version) and each unit is a transceiver. They're worth their weight in gold! The Pro version uses True1 vs IEC.
