Video router > Input > Specific layer : Change when adding layer...

Post by Obyon »

Hello Resolume family,

I hope it's the right place to ask my question about video router.

The question is simple :
I'm using video router with a specific layer in input,
But sometimes I need to add layers to my composition template.
And doing so, the specified input layer of the video router changes...

I don't find anything about this behavior online, so I'm wondering if I'm doing something the wrong way, because I can't be the only one bothered by this behavior ?

I assume it must be due to something relative to the te reference of the layer based on layer order or something, so yeah, if I add or move a layer, the order changes...

Let me know if it's normal or not, and if so, if there is a solution to lock the input or any solution...

Thank you :)

Yes, that's how it works. The layers are defined by their indexes, not by their names or UniqueID currently.
