Endless spinning wheel when loading Avenue

Hi -

I've just started building my first projects and having tons of fun!

When opening the application for the first time today, after a reboot of the computer, Avenue opens but the spinning wheel just spins forever, I've waited around 20 minutes thinking maybe it was loading the video clips or something along those lines, but when I look into Activity Monitor the process is at 35% of CPU and *not responding* state. Forcing it to shut down and reloading it does not seem to help.

I am on MacOS Sonoma 14.1, using a 14 in MacBook Pro, 2021, with an M1 Max chip, 64 GB memory.
