Green specks

Post by rawdesigns »

I have a monitor that is getting very very tiny green flashing specks kind of like noise but it’s very subtle. It’s coming from fiber > fiber DVI adapter > DVI. I tried swapping the DVI cable but no luck. Anyone else experience this before?

Try lowering the data rate on the cable, lower color depth, or refresh rate.

Could also be external interference.

ya, sounds like a bandwidth issue. Had this also before. Additionally there is a chance that you encounter a defective hardware part.... But primary I would also try to lower the bandwidth so see if gets better.

best wishes

That's standard with most DVI cables. It's do to poor shielding. I spent a good month back in 2016 comparing about 100 different DVI brands and only about 30% played well with our LED wall.
