Arena 7 not using serial number after OSX update to Sonoma

Post by guychapman »

Hey everyone,

We updated our Mac Studios to Sonoma today. We had not been in a hurry to do it, and finally decided to update our computers around our campus. When I open Arena after updating I am automatically prompted to register the Dongle we have plugged into the computer. If I try to put in our serial number then I am given an error message that the dongle already has a registered serial. So, Arena recognizes that there is a dongle plugged into the computer and even recognizes that it has a serial when I try to add one to it, but it is not using the serial number that is on the dongle. We are getting the water mark, so it is not behaving as if there is a serial number registered to it. We have uninstalled and reinstalled Resolume Arena. It is updated to the latest version and now the latest version of OSX. Arena has permission to access removable volumes. We have tried starting it without the dongle plugged in and we are still prompted to register. Once we plug the dongle in then it switches to register the dongle. We've tried all we can think of to do. Has anyone else experience anything like this, or know what I am missing to get Resolume Arena to accept the serial number on the dongle? Thanks for any help. It's much appreciated.
