BLOOM FESTIVAL! 11/12/13th Aug, Wiltshire

Post by bloomfestival »

Dear Bloomers,

The countdown is on! In just three weeks time we will be getting ready to
open the gates for the first ever Bloom Festival. We are so excited. In
fact we didn't think it was possible to get any more excited... That was
until 808 State confirmed.

The pioneering electronic music makers will perform an exclusive LIVE set
at our Sunday night finale on the main stage. We are honored to have 808
State on board. And just a bit thrilled too :)

Hearing the anthem Pacific being played live in the twilight at the most
amazing and magical Larmer Tree Gardens...the perfect end to the best
summer in ages...

An experience not to be missed.

Franc: "On a personal tip I'm over the moon 808 State are playing. I grew
up in Manchester and used to listen to the 808 State radio show on Sunset
102 every Tuesday night. Their playlist was pure underground house and
techno as it was back then, and the boys played a huge part in
establishing and driving the dance music scene in Manchester, and beyond.
Massive. To have them headlining at Bloom is like a dream come true."

On the music front we have also added the superb Dr Rubberfunk to the bill
for his funk flavored blend of beats, L Double (BBC 1Xtra) for some
Upfront dubplate drum and bass, and Terry Farley, Stuart Patterson and
Dave Jarvis who will be bringing their infamous Faith party fresh from the
Lovebox weekender. Also headlining at Lovebox this weekend are our
buddies, secretsundaze who will be hosting our dance tent with one of
their famous Sunday sessions on 13th August - also making sure everyone
finishes their Bloom experience on a total high. Dirty, chunky, bass
driven-high ;) Not forgetting all the extra special silliness we have
lined up; Beat Jigsaw, Bingo, Fancy Dress Lost Disco, Oxygen Bar, Sonic
Art from Cybersonica, Films, Comedy, The Vegetable Patch, Giant Drumming
Robots + much much more.

The line up is pretty much complete now and you check artist profiles on
our website. Check for daily updates, as we announce who is playing on
what day.

Love
