laptop spec's ok???????????????

hey i have a laptop that i got built espically for multimedia....spec are
pentium 4..3.0
radion 9700
2 gig ram

If you also have a 72.000 rpm HD (or 10.000) and use proper codecs (like Ligos Indeo 5.1 or 5.2) it should be no problem at all with these specs

try not to use an intel p4 that has HT - or if it does have HT (hyper threading) make sure you can disable it prior to installing windows. With ht enabled you essentially only have half your processor working for you in resolume, since resolume doesn't support multiple threads or processors
