how do I output photos on resolume?

Post by armelle »

Hi,
Im new to resolume, its rocking my world - hell yes what a program!:D

I want to use it to create visuals with my photographs as I am a photographer (http://www.armelle.co.uk) and have used projections as a way of presenting my work in the past.

I am finding that no matter what pixel dimension or resolution i make my jpegs the output of the image is the same - that being really pixelly and not that good to look at. It doesnt seem to matter what screen set up I try etiher ...

So, is this just the way that it is?! or am i missing something?

please enlighten :)
im totally LOVIN IT XX:cool:

glad you like it ;-)

if you are using pictures you should make shure that the pictures are resized to the resolution that you want to use them at in resolume. So if you are running Resolume at 640x480 you should resize your pictures in photoshop to 640x480 before loading them in resolume.

this is because the scaling algorithm in resolume is build to work in realtime and therefor the image quality is not as good as in pgotoshop.
