videoinstallation

Post by monokompatibel »

hi at all,

i want to create a videoinstallation on 3 screens. so the problem is, that at one time, the footage on the three screens is the same. but in other scenes the footage af the centered screen isn't the same like the others.
so the simplest way is to get 3 dvd players, one for each screen and auther the dvd's for each screen. but i want to do this with a computer and software. so my question is:
is it possible to get a computer (a desktop) where i can put in 3 videocards ? and is resolume able to operate with three videocards. so i can put in three different clips and decide to get the same view on ll screens in one time or to decide to get three different videos , one on each screen.

is it possible to manage this problem with the resolume sw??

greets

is it possible to do this with Resolume but it,s not the easiest way to do it ;-)

If you computer has 3 independent outputs then Resolume can send different signals to every screen. Then on a different computer you need to make a midi sequence and sned the midi signals to Resolume to make it switch videos in time.
