Weird FPS & Stats Results

Post by jimib007 »

Hi,
I want to make sure that I am getting the most out of what my laptop has.
Switched to new Laptop an Alienware m17 R4, i7 10870H 16GB RAM, Nvida RTX 3070 8GB.
Latest Windows 11, NVIDA updates, and drivers.
Resolume ver 7.22.2
First, it seems to be running fine with the expected performance bump from my old laptop.

However, the stats in the FPS & Stat bar seem unusual compared to my old system.
Using little or no CPU and seemingly high RAM
Running nothing but a .dxv 30fps video clip (1920x1080 16bit) with no effects:
Stat reading: CPU 0%, RAM 85%, VRAM 13%, FPS 125,

CPU Stat doesn't seem to match The performance charts from Task Manager.

Thank You in advance, Jim

How many layers and columns does your composition have?
Software developer, Sound Engineer,

Problem Solved: some weird BIOS settings were solved by updating and replacing INTEL driversand updating BIOS. Apparently, it was an Alienware thing.

Thanks, Jim
