Hello!
I've been looking around but can't find the solution, a least not quite.
I use different setups with Resolume Arena 7, one of which involves sending MIDI signal from Ableton Live through a MIDI "agregate". I also use an Akai APC 40, Akai Mini or Korg Nano. Different setups for different projects...
The thing is depending on the type of project, I have different notes set to trigger videos in Arena, there can be in different spots as well. But whenever I change it in one composition, it applies to all the others I open afterwards. It means that every time I work on a new project, and go back to an older, I need to remap the whole MIDI, it's quite time consuming...
I found some of the MIDI profiles on my computer, there are four saved (not sure how I can save them) but the one named "default" always appears.
So, my questions are:
1. How can I load a MIDI profile to a composition? I've read through shortcuts menu/MIDI but I don't see it.
2. How can I save the MIDI profile from a composition?
3. Can MIDI mapping be attached to a particular composition? In my case, whatever I mapped in the last project is what appears..
4. It might be that I tend to use to start with an older composition since I have some settings that are fixed, and then SAVE AS an other name/composition, could it be that when I save as, I also save the MIDI setting for the old composition??
I'm sure there's an easy solution, but sorry I couldn't find it on the forum..
Thanks!!

You can easily make different maps for different set ups and save them. A MIDI map is not automatically saved inside the composition. So every time you want a new/different mapping, select it in the MIDI shortcuts panel

Re: Saving MIDI settings with multiple devices
Yes, if you start with an older composition and then save it as a new file, Resolume will carry over the MIDI settings from the original composition. This is because MIDI mappings are part of the project file, and a Save As operation will preserve all settings from the original. To avoid this, make sure to save the MIDI profile separately before you begin working on the new project.
