UI Bug - Layer Opacity with Envelopes

Just installed the latest version 7.22.4 rev43686 7feb2025 -win 10
And for me its that the Layer Opacity Slider of the main UI Layer section reacts strange when I use some animation with a envelope. eg Timeline and envelope preset digital. In my understanding it should be at100% than 0% than 100% than 0%... the layer itself reacts like that but the slider is reacting like 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% which doesnt make sense for me at all...
Am I missing something or any hints?

In the envelope editor you have "Phase" and "Opacity" for each keyframe, the slider does reflect the phase, not the opacity. With the hold keyframes it does indeed not update very intuitively because there are no value changes, but generally this behaviour looks correct to me.

If you check the opacity slider in the layer-tab you can see the main slider indicator, reflecting the phase and the thin indicator reflecting the actual opacity-value:

I suspect a UI bug in 7.22.4, similar to VIDVOX’s slider issue (), where the slider doesn’t sync with timeline keyframes. The “Digital” preset may also misreport values to the UI. Try the troubleshooting steps, especially testing other presets and rebuilding the layer.
