viewing all effect parameters

Post by armitageshanks »

on some freeframe effects such as pete warden's kaleidoscope, for example, there are more than four adjustable parameters to play with. in resolume you can only see four. is there any way to get access to the others?

cheers,

armitage

Not easily, as far as I know.

If it is important for me, I use Pete's Freechain program to make a "wrapper" around an effect, moving the parameters I want to use to the first four positions.

Apparently FFRend (http://ffrend.sourceforge.net/) also has such an authoring capability. It can export a "metaplugin" composed of one or more Freeframe effects, and you can define metaparameters to be controlled by the host, or by built-in automation.

Oh, and I totally support access to all parameters as a feature request.
