I am unable to play the first 10 channels on the "demo1" deck. Clicking one of them moves its image into the current layer, but it does not play. The output remains stuck at the last frame displayed before changing to the video. I suspect the problem is that I need a codec, because trying to play the videos in Windows Media Player 11 I get a message saying "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or a required codec might not be installed on your computer." Can someone tell me what codec I need and where to get it from please?
I am currently using Windows Vista Business to try out Resolume, but will probably be using Windows 2000 Pro for performances in case of possible problems with Vista.
The files which don't play are:
- DiscoFever-wall-6-320.avi
- DiscoFever-drunk-spin-l-320.avi
- DCVS07 invader 03.avi
- DCVS07 prozac 04 redmix.avi
- DCVS08 street 15 x twist 4x120bpm.avi
- DCVS08 radio 01 tree.avi
(fewer than 10 listed as some are used more than once with different effects applied)
The other AVIs play fine, so it must be something particular to these ones.
