Ok, thanx for the quick reply on my last post. Second question. If i use the dvdMax or zoom function. Which resolution is the output in then. OK, full pal ofcourse. But what is the resolution of the preview window? All my clips are at full pal, but the preview window isn't. Will they then first be scaled down and then rescaled to full pal. Because this will generate a major loss in quality.
So if any of the resolume (or anybody else who can answer this....) programmers read this. What is the resolution of the preview window and is my story correct or not?
Cheers
Matrox cards, another question
the only way to get full Pal output resolution is to use a dual screen setup, where you "undock" the output window and put it on a second monitor at full size.
Apparently Bart and Ed are working on a function where you can preview using the lo-res "docked"
preview window, but your clips will be output at their full resolution.
Personally i use lores clips (320x240) and zoom to the preview window. Works fine.
In the majority of environment we work in, it doesn't matter that it's lo-res clips (smoke/flashing lights etc).
