Tested and it works!
You'll need these videodrivers in XP under bootcamp: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306891
...beware, it only works with a nvidea graphic card. But all new macbooks pro have nvidea. So put on your running shoes and rush to your nearby Applestore.....
:D

Thanx Buckrogers, I´m waiting my Mac.
I bought a Macbook Pro 2.4 ghz 4 Gb ram 15.4
When I got it I promise to post a full performance review.
I´m currently working on a Toshiba M45 1.73 ghz 2 gb RAM. Running 3 640x480 layers (picvideo3 codec). and 1 effect with almost no problems. Some dropped frames when I trigger some clips and loading decks.
Hope performance get's better with my new mac. I guess it should, faster processor + more ram + I'm planning on getting a Firewire 800, 7200 rpm external HD.

Re: macbook pro video out under leopard working
hi, i want to follow up on this topic. i'm very strongly a potential macbook pro buyer.
has testing resolume under bootcamp been flawless with video-out to projectors?
how does resolume feel under bootcamp anyway?
thanks, i think this would be useful information to anyone.

No problems noticed. Keep in mind that you'll have to buy an optional Apple DVI to Video Adapter like below. The price is reasonable though ($ 19.00).defasten wrote:has testing resolume under bootcamp been flawless with video-out to projectors?

Also keep in mind that 'overscan' is not supported by the videodrivers.
It feels fine. No stutters or crashes so far. But this is logical, cause running windows under bootcamp is like running windows on a regular pc. The only downpoint is booting to windows againdefasten wrote:how does resolume feel under bootcamp anyway?

Re: macbook pro video out under leopard working
Woah---so it works in Boot Camp with just the regular $19 DVI-to-s-video cable? No need for a DVI->VGA cable plus scan converter?
