Problem with loading resolume

i had resolume 2.41 working on my system fine then it started loading incorrectly. i reinstalled it but the same problem exists. it will load up and create 2 program tabs (instead of 3) and if i click on either of them nothing happens. if i right-click to close the program the resolume dialogue box appears (do you really want to quit?), this is the only resolume screen i get to see.

any ideas greatly appreciated.

Nobody has any suggestions? I am thinking i will have to do a complete system reinstall, i cant think of anything else. very strange seeing as it WAS working fine.

any suggestions of what i might try before i spend hours backing everything up and reinstall windows?

Before you reinstall everything perhaps should remove resolume and delete every file and folder resolume leaves behind. C:\mydocuments\resolume and c:\programfiles\resolume

i gave that a whirl, uninstalled resolume and then deleted the folder it creates in my documents, reinstalled it and still the same problem. any thoughts anyone, as to why it was working and now isnt?

It was the antivirus software AVG that caused the problem, i have uninstalled this. what av software are people using, or is there a workaround. thanks!

i use avg aswell and dont notice too many probs..how does avg effect resolume?

Hey thanks ... removing AVG seemed to work for me too. Don't suppose anyone knows of a work around... I am pretty happy with AVG as an anti-virus. Guess if there is not a way for them to co-exist then a dedicated boot for resolume only is a good route.
