A way to do this?

Post by vjcharm »

Is there a way to quickly switch between two clips, like the A/B buttons on an edirol V4? I can mix two clips and fade them, but can't cut. Thanks.

you could just crossfade really fast, or switch the layer order around?

or maybe use the toggle layer on/off button.... the one to the right of the big button with an X on it.

I think the above solutions will restart the clips, no? I need to switch quckly while the clips are running. I might play around with the midi controls and see if I can assign a button to the opacity, in theory, it should go from 0 to 100 when the button is pressed, but who knows. :D

my apologies, i thought you mean turn it off an on with the x, because i didn't have resolume in front of me, i weant home and actually did exactly what you said, but thinking i was doing something different! :D works like a charm, and I had one spare key left on my midi controller to do it.

anyway, I said ",no?" at the end meaning i wasn't sure, but i'll check next time, thanks.
