greetings!
i have baught myself a new system, which should be powerful enough to run resolume with high quality vids. But nevertheless, I experience probs...
Here are my specs:
PIV 2,4 GHz
2 x 512 MB DDR
SAPPHIRE RADEON 9500 PRO
WESTERN DIGITAL HD 7200rpm
One HD, the software drive, is FAT32. The other one, the AV drive HD is formated NTFS.
I am using DUAL HEAD, moving the outputwindow to mainmonitor and setting it to
800x600-->scale to: fullscreen
What codec & what quality settings would be best for me?
Would DV avis be okay?
Maybe you can share some hints...
thx.

BEST QUALITY POSSIBLE
hi there
i can't comment on the performance of your machine as i've never used a radeon card with resolume, but we use indeo avi's and flash. we only use an output resolution of 320x240 (scaled to full screen by matrox card), as this means good frame rates on all layers with effects. If the radeon can handle higher resolutions, i'd try maybe 640x480 avi's?
