luma key slowdown

I managed to get all my set up running smoothly, even playing out at 640x 480 everything is fine 6 hour sets no problem, exept when I use luma key to play out titled bmps or logo avi's, I understand that I could do this through a mask but previews for masks are poor and only allow stills.

The idea was to put a logo spinning in top right by running a small ani on black background with luma key to leave spinning logo, had to take it off after 5 minutes and a crash.

Anyone else had this problem, I did a test when I finally figured out the problem, did usual set after 5 hours tried a luma keyed avi with immediate slow down and then crashed 5 times in an hour. I hope its not just me with this problem. This even is the case at 320x240.

try using the Lighten mode (Li) set at 50 - not exactly the effect you're going for, but might work.
