Hi,
i`m working as a graphics designer for a movie theatre. when we have a movie premiere, we normally
show an looped welcome screen playing from a dvd. when we have an sponsor for the event,
we just skip to the next chapter of the dvd containing the sponsors logo and so on. Really boring and
not such a good resolution (720x576). Now i want to be more flexible by starting and ending loops
at the right time. perfectly with an dissolve between the clips. the loops have got audio, so the software
should be able of playing that too. And lastly we send the signal to an digital movie projector capable of
uncompressed full hd picture, so the software should be able to read files with a minimum of 1280x720 resolution. Is Resolume capable of doing this?? Just an Example, as it would be perfect : When the guests are taking their seats in the theatre, i playback an animated loop. Then the moderation starts, ive got a
clip prepared, and at some point i fade the welcome loop out to black, and fade the moderation loop in.
and so on...maybe i could get further in the future but for a start it would be perfect to be that flexible.
