Helsinki Low Frequency Weekend, HELOW 09
3.-4.-4.2009 Basso, Renegade, Pixelache and Vj Finland together organize the year's widest rewiev on the Finnish and international electronic art. Six interationally recognized artists of the electronic music scene and fifteen vj -groups from six different countries arrive in Helsinki to perform during the weekend in HELOW 2009 -event in Voimala, Suvilahti. For their performances, Vj Finland will build up tens of screens and will produce massive outdoor projections on the area of Suvilahti. Vjs also perform at Pixelache- event during the same week in the Kiasma -theatre.
The main artists of the weekend are a collection of fresh as well as experienced names of the electronic music scene.
Artist selection in Voimala ranges from the new promising act Jack Beats to the chart- loved producer duo Chase & Status, to Benga, who has been on the frontline creating dubstep and it's success around the world. Present in the event are also drum'n'bass -dj Subfocus, dubstep -name N-Type and the best Finnish electronic djs including Tes La Rok, Muffler, Rico Tubbs, Boner Brigade, Desto, LAOS and Burma.
