cpu usage

Hello,

im running resolume 1.5 now for some days. But it is rather slow.

Im using an AMD 2000+ 512mb ram and radeon9700, so that should be ok.

but when starting resolume it uses almost all resources without even doing anything.
Moreover in dualscreen mode the pc looks like an old p1.

what is the problem? Is there a bug in the program?

can you give us some more info about the video files you are trying to play?

Note that the cpu being allways on 100% is a normal thing ... the render engine is programmed like a game ... just like most other vj softwarez like VJamm.
