core I7 920/MSI X58M/12G DDR3/Winfast GTX260+/Realtek HD built-in sound card with X58M/Vista Ultimate 32bit
1.at first R3 works fine. but after awhile for unknown reason sound card will disappears from Perferrence/audio Tab/, then all my output and FFT channel will be inactive mode and stop working. once this happends there is no way to get sound back....unless u reinstall everything. EVerything includes VISTA ultimate. All the drivers. R3 and everything. it happends with my M-audio Audiophile USB and digidesign Mbox2 as well. it is totally a nightmare. it happened twices for me 20min before the show and it sucks hard.
2.when i record the video using the record mode in R3. at first it works fine after 3 or 5 mins. everything become slower and slower. playback, control, everything. then it will crash for sure. but the good part is recorded mov will be saved in Recorded folder...
