[request] separate triggering from selecting over OSC

I notice that when a clip is triggered via OSC, it is also selected in the clip panel. This makes it a little difficult to work on applying effects to clips manually when an external program is launching clips - the clip you are trying to work with gets replaced by the auto-triggered one.

Would it be possible to modify the OSC /layer/clip/connect behavior so it just activates it, but doesn't actually select it in the clip panel?

We have already solved this problem. In th next update you can set a preference to determine if the clip panel should be updated on external triggers (MIDI and OSC) or not. This way you can indeed sequence without the interface jumping to a different clip all the time.
