Beat-sync is a feature that really would rock.
using a tapped in beat to determine the speed of a loop could do great effects! Just imagine a robot moving its arm up and down to the beat...
Feature Request
in principle, resolume has all features to do that. All u need additionally is a beatcounter and a calculator *gg
there should be the opportunity to assign the determined beat to either the lentgh (start and end point of a clip have a fix distance, but you can move them together) OR the speed of a clip, so it could be looped once, half, twice (and so on) during a sequence of 4 beats ...
I hope its clear what I mean, in spite of my not very good english?!

I'd like to be able to assign FX to active layer with say ctl+FXkey
Also as metioned before I think, multiple tabs on the desks(even if it was just the previous desk as a tab)
Automatic remembering of output window size would be handy!
Max FPS also, I find clips run away under certain conditions ie taking FX of when the frame rates dropped, it seems like a buffer filling? Just looks a bit weird when a clip plays double speed for second!
A clock in the info bar at the bottom wouldnt go amiss either! Minor but quite useful!
Cheers

All these ideas are damn great - also maybe...
The ability to either Hide/Duplicate/Delete Effects.
Both Permanently and from decks temporarily - some effects aren't appropriate for all situations and can be a little confusing to sort through live.
An dreamy extension of this would be to support icon view for plugins and jpg thumbnail support as icons.
