Velocity and timeline

Post by Sol »

Hi everybody,
I just updated my resolume 2 to the new one, very cool, great new features.
But....
I can't setup my midi controller with the velocity and the control of the timeline for each layer.
When I try to setup the velocity, I can do that only with the selected clip, not for the layer 1,2,3 like in the previous 2.x.
Anyone can help me?
Thanks! ;)

You can i.e. bind the same controller/knob to the velocity parameter of every layer.

- Make sure a clip is active on every layer you like to map.
- In the menu open the contextual MIDI mapping
- Set mapping to "deckfocus"
- Learn/assign MIDI controls

Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately the problem is still there.
If I assign a midi control to a layer I can't put for example a clip on the third layer into the first layer, because i'll have to control it with the third layer knob...too much confusion. I think the only solution is to select each time the layer you want to use and assign the control to the layerfocus in mapping mode. But it is no so useful...Hope you have another solution! :D
