My BCF Map

Post by ledhed »

I had an epiphany last night at the MSTRKRFT show here in Nashville (Visuals there sucked, BTW) on how to set up my BCF with Resolume. Here's a pic:

Its pretty simple: I have three layers so a Fader and Encoder group for those.

The encoders are also utilized for their push feature to activate fx

The 4th encoder bank is used to control FX on clips and the level of my Zoom (beatmatched, of course) and my "Aw Shit" which is basically a lot of effects linked to one button and knob. The On/Off for those is below so I can trigger them at anytime.

I don't really use a X-fader anymore but I don't really know what I'd use that last channel for and figured "Why Not?"

Let me know what you guys think and give me any suggestions!

Nice!

No transport controls or tempo for the clips?

All my clips are set to BPM and I tap that with my spacebar. Adding pause would probably help ;) Just starting in this and tweak all the setting just about every other day :D
