Flash or Strobe Effect

In R2.41 I have "darker" o "Lighter" effect in maximun mode and opacity change with "TimeSwitcher" for a strobe or flashlight effect.
Cannot do this in R3?
I try it using same effect (darker or lighter or bright) setting the opacity to change at exagerated BPMs, but there are a little fade effect, is not direct black or white.
If adding a "min/max" button next to "loop" "ping-pong" "play once" buttons may be very usefull.

maybe there is a problem in the processing, bart or edwin wrote that the layer is not processed if opacity = 0.
but you can try a workaround with the step sequencer or maybe with other midi/osc programs

There is not problem with opacitiy=0.

The problem is that not exist "max/min" or "timeswitcher" setting any more on R3.



But with your suggestion may be posible to do that. Is not a global solution but I try it.
