Greetings Resolumers!

I got myself an ATI Radeon grafic card and now I am curious about best configurations, drivers, tuning, special features, etc.

What is the DVDmax all about?
And that Theater Mode?

I think, such kind of threat could be really usefull, so please post anything you know...

somewhere in your graphics card options you should have a setting called "theatre mode" - enable that, then in resolume under "miscellaneous options", turn on "DVD max".
This should automaticaly output the resolume mix to your graphics cards' video out.

ok, couldn't find out esilty from the ati site,

does anyone know if the Mobility version of RADEON 9600 supports theatre mode and dvd max features?

i have 1 mobility radeon 9600 and i have some interference when i activate the theatre mode. anyone else have this graphic card and this problem?

I have a Radeon 9700 Pro dual head in my rack mount and I find nothing related to DVD max or Theater Mode in any of the options. It was my guess and understanding that these features had more to do with Matrox/Geeforce cards then anything. But truly, I'm not sure.

it does work with the readeon cards, you should search for the overlay tab in the display properties settings. If you don't have this option try downloading the latest drivers..

yes i`ve also recognized this problem with may radeon 9600. If you mean some kind of black bar in the downer region of the outputed picture (not in the resolume video window on my desktop)
I thought that it might have something to do with the frequency between my Laptop and the beamer or the videomixer...but if you also got this problem it might also have something to do with the grafic card

is the black bar glitch common to all laptops with the mobility radeon 9600 ? i would like to know as i am thinking of buying a new laptop with this card specifically to run resloume using theatre mode, ie outputting preview to beamer,

also are there any other cards that could perform this highly desirable function,

to get rid of the black border update to the newest catalyst drivers and enable overscan in the display settings for the tv
