both output and preview dont work!!!!!!!

the program doesnt have any problems with my graphics card like my labtop but yet it doesnt show anything in the preview or output, i have dual monitors and when i set it for my second monitor it just removes the mouse or if its in windowed mode, it shows an empty box

Sorry to hear you're having problems. From what you describe it's hard to figure out what is causing the problem exactly. If both the output and the preview monitor are not showing anything, it's more likely this hasn't so much to do with your two screen setup, and the problem probably lies somewhere else.

Could you give a step by step account of what you're doing, what you're thinking should happen, and what is actually happening? That way we can narrow down the possible causes.

you might want to try turning fullscreen vide overlaymirroring off in your graphics driver settings.
