Avenue clock controled by Ableton Live via midi-yoke

Post by rxfromparis »

I set up Avenue and Live with midi-yoke as instructed by the tutorial found on the forum. Midi yoke seems to install fine in windows Seven, and i was able to find the il and out ports in Avenue and Live. When i start Live, Avenue starts as well, and at the right bpm, but after 16 bars or so, Avenue drifts out of sync. Am i missing something ??

so you think that smoothing the clock via OSC might correct the clock following thing ?? It's kinda weird, usually music programs that sync to clock stay synced. Is Avenue following the midi clock or just starting at the same time with more or less the same bpm, which would explain the drift after a while ?? Has anybody got the same results using a normal midi setup ??

We will release a free update before the end of the year that improves clock stability. We have put a lot of work into this so we hope to release soon.
