Hey Guys,

Im using res 3.1.1 on pc and here are some of my issues.

I will post my PC spec at the end.

Im running vista and XP (I know Vista is a big no no and slow)

ive encoded all clips 400x300 DXV

I can happily play 2 layers at 60fps but as soon as i try to change decks it stutters down to 15fps even 12fps.

so this rules out any live performance at this moment in time.

My xp machine is similar and i have the same problem. it is xp home and not pro so i feel this will probs be my down fall also.

overall i think the program is fantastic and the potential is just waiting to fully suffice.

from what i have read. win 7 is a must and also a ssd drive.

luckily im due an upgrade in the next few months for my new AV project that will get under way!

your doing a great job guys keep it up! :)

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T7200 @ 2.00GHz
2gb Ram
ATI X1700 mobility
7200rpm hdd.
playback ext 7200rpm hdd.

Thanks
Basic

Hi Basic

Good to hear you're enjoying the ride so far, and thanks for the kind words.

Switching decks is one of the things that we are constantly working on improving. All improvements will always be made available via free updates. Be sure to check regularly for those.

Again, thank you and have fun!
