please help newbie second monitor pblm.

Hello,
I have a gateway laptop 1.7 with 512 ram, 40 G. But no special video card.
I had installed the demo of resolume about 6 months ago and it worked fine with second monitor, since I have purchased resolume and reformated windows and I cant get the second monitor funcion to work, on my tv it works with rca cable, just loose viwing on resolume interface, but with a video projector it doesnt work at all, have tried with RCA and component video and it freaks out and I loose all monitoring on projector and interface.
I have serached for my video card, all I can find is iss alegro - is that it??Cant seem to change anything on it...
Does anyone have any clues for me??? Thanks, Vanessa

hi Vanessa,

maybe if u download the updated drivers...
and than in the advances settings on the right tab of the display settings there should be a funtion u have to enable for the second monitor (tv output or second monitor or CRT monitor or something). usually this does the trick...
