Hi - I`ve been doing a gig where I wanted to create a constantly moving cycle of `arches` with transparent cetres to show show other moving layers - this was achieved by creating a double width page ( 2048) and moving it on the X axis and adjusting the in and out points until it looped. Without numerical values it wss very fiddly trying to get a good loop going, similarly with trying to get other layers passing behind the top layer with no accurate way of getting the speeds just right. There is a numerical spped value for video transport, but not for the other parameters which means that it is difficult getting accurate and repeatable results .
Also the timeline magnifier seems to only work on the timeline for video files. It was displayed when I was trying to adjust ` X position` speeds etc but didn`t function.
ps the new keystone mask was fantastic in this gig as the whole screen was slanted and this new ability to trim and crop made it a breeze to make it look neat.
best wishes John McGeoch

Hey guys
Displaying the current value of a slider correctly yet non-intrusively is something we are working on. Once it is properly functioning on all platforms it will be part of a free update.
