Decks in Avenue loading too slow

I have been experiencing severe issues with the decks loading the thumbnails way too slow. At times the output stutters. I have this issue both on my Macbook Pro (core duo2.0, 2 gigs ram, 7200rpm drive via firewire 400) and my rackmount machine (dual core AMD athlon 4200, ATI FireGL 5600, 3.5gigs of ram, 10k rpm drive for video clips). The problem seems to be consistent despite the way the clips are encoded. Any help would greatley be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you updated to the latest version (3.1.3)? It has significantly improved deck changing speed.
