I have a question.

I have many clips / videos that I want to convert into a proper format.

The codec is only found in After Effects, but not in Premiere.

ich habe eine Frage.

Ich habe viele Clips/Videos die ich in ein richtiges Format umwandeln möchte.

Es geht hierbei um den entwickelten DXV Codec von Resolume Avenue.

Der Codec ist nur in After Effects zu finden, aber nicht in Premiere.

Ums einfach zu sagen, da ich viele Clips/Videos habe will ich alle mit diesen Codec verarbeiten und suche daher in After Effects eine Möglichkeit zum Batchen mehrer Videos.

Meine Frage lautet daher gibt es so etwas in AE und wenn ja wo finde ich diese Option?

not so many informations about your os, or the version of ae you use. to make it a little bit easier to you, i answer in german and give you the link to very nice free tool from livid instruments to batch all your files to the dxv-codec.

... ich weiss jetzt nicht welches betriebssystem, oder version von after effects du verwendest, aber du kannst deine bestehenden files viel leichter mit einem freeware tool umwandeln. in ae cs4 kannst du über den media encoder mehr files der reihe nach umrechnen lassen, aber das finde ich persönlich ziemlich umständlich.
ich hoffe mal du verwendest entweder einen mac mit osx, oder einem pc mit windows xp (auf win7 geht das programm leider nicht).
ich habe alle meine files mit der "batch export utility" von livid instruments umgerechnet.
das programm ist frei und sehr leicht zu verwenden: http://www.lividinstruments.com/software_other.php

einfach start- und ziel-ordner auswählen und bei codec dxv wählen. da ich meine gigs mit einem macbook pro mache, habe ich alle files als mov-dateien gespeichert und verwende zu umwandlung das tool sowohl am mac, wie am pc.

Ich habe Windows XP (weil ich Mac nicht mag - man ist zu sehr am Unternehmen gebunden) und AE CS4.

Ist die Umwandlung mit AE nicht vielleicht besser bzw. hochwertiger oder ist dies hier egal?
Persönlich will ich auch bei *.mov bleiben.

Ich da der DVX Code den Nachteil hat das es kein normaler Player abspielen kann bzw. unterstützt, so werde ich zwar bei *.Mov bleiben aber such auch nach einem Programm das nicht nur gleich Batcht sondern auch die Größe nach Einstellungen also z.B. 1024x768 anpasst.

Adobe Media Encoder (included in CS4 bundle) can convert in batch mode, only that you need is set a preset for the first video (Format "quicktime", Video Codec "DXV") then add the rest of videos and convert.

Or make a "Watch Folder" but you need to set (and save) a preset with the correct codec.
